What's the big idea? |
 |
|
The big idea behind MusicSocket is to help you make it big in the music industry, and save you as much time and money as possible along the way. We know what matters to you:
your music. And that means you want to spend your time making and playing your music, not trawling the internet looking for
potential leads to try and make your big break. We aim to do all that
legwork for you, and provide you with all the tools and information you need to get your music to the widest audience
you can; all in one place and for the lowest subscription fee
possible.

How did it start? |
 |
|
MusicSocket was founded in 2008 by amateur writer and musician J. Paul Dyson, who also founded
firstwriter.com in 2001.
firstwriter.com is a website that helps writers find success by supplying them with details of
publishers,
literary
agents, magazines, and
competitions, and
MusicSocket has been set up to provide those people out to make it in the music industry with the same kind of critical advantage.
firstwriter.com lends not only its winning formula, but also much of its look and technology to the
MusicSocket website. This means that from its inception MusicSocket has seven years of development to draw upon. |

Contacting MusicSocket |
 |
|
Here at MusicSocket we keep your subscription charges low by keeping our staff numbers down. We're a small business with an international audience, which means that communication by phone and post isn't practical for us – but it also means that your message won't get lost in a corporate morass of call-centre school-leavers: you'll get a personal response from someone who actually knows what they're talking about within two working days. You can contact us at any time via our contact form by
clicking here. |
